Creating a Blog Account

Follow the steps below.

Go to www.wordpress.com
Click Get started here
Then fill out the form. Please use your first name and family name as blog address. Note: There should be no space between name and family name and use lower case text (example: arlambe.wordpress.com) as shown in the figure.
Then click Sign up.
After clicking Sign up, you will see this. Then check your e-mail for confirmation and log in to wordpress using your user name.
Then go to the dashboard as illustrated below.
To learn about the dashboard just click wordpress.
Make an interesting title about your blog, you can change your header image that is appropriate to your blog title. (Note: changing header image depends on the chosen theme). You can refer to sample blogs found on the sidebar of my blog (iSchools Camp Bloggers or Blogs of Previous Students)
After creating a wordpress account update me your URL, just click here.
Create the pages “About You or About the Blogger” (write information about the blogger) and “About the Blog” (describe what your blog is all about).
Make your first post. Article on any of the topics below. Add this on News category. You can revise the title. Add photos. Don’t forget to acknowledge owners of photos used.
