The Angry Teacher

Here is a story of a fellow. This is a kind of teacher’s experience in his class. This fellow could not exactly remember when this happened. But the event always flashes in his mind like it had just happened yesterday. One day in his afternoon class, he sent his student outside the class. This was actually quite in class, timid, and listens to discussions very well.

He felt so guilty with his action. This student had never been noisy in his class except that day. This fellow perhaps not in a good mood that day when he suddenly caught this student talking with his classmate, his temper rose up and he shouted to him to go out of his class and he did.

A day after, his former student who happened to be his brother visited the teacher in his room. She asked the teacher about the event the other day. She asked why did the teacher sent his brother out of the classroom when he was a good type of student. Then the teacher answered her “It was just an overreaction, perhaps I was not in a good mood and I regret I did it”

Sometimes a teacher isn’t cautious enough. He should have asked the student why he was noisy. But never to let him embarrassed with his classmates. I believe it was unjust for the student. The teachere wasn’t fair. Teachers should choose the right attitudes inside the classroom so he may not offend his students. The action could have resulted embarrassment on the part of the student. We should respect our students when we want them to respect us. Treat them with dignity. If a student committed a mistake in your class, talk to him alone and explain to him the consequence of what he had done but never scold him in front of his classmates. Respect begets respect.
